Our client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of wall and ceiling systems to the building industry. Our client are a leading manufacturer and supplier of wall and ceiling systems to the building industry. They are currently seeking a Trade Qualified Fitter Machinist to join their team.

The position is offering a pay rate of $34.60 per hour and will suit someone who has experience working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to hydraulics. 

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am- 330pm

Your duties will include but not limited to:

  • Operate Lathe and milling machine
  • Welding- Mig and stick
  • Repairing hydraulics
  • Fabrication
  • Machine breakdowns

To be successful you will need:

  • To be trade qualified with experience repairing hydraulics
  • Experience working with heavy machinery or similar (highly regarded)
  • A hands on and mechanically minded aptitude 
  • Understanding and respect for safety awareness
  • To work with minimal supervision
  • Good work attitude and ethic with excellent time keeping history
  • A driver’s licence and reliable transport
  • Your birth certificate or passport to show your work rights in Australia
  • 2 x contactable referees to verify your experience and work behaviour
