The OpportunityThis is a specialised, fast-paced dynamic Spare Parts Interpreting role.  Working closely with the Spare Parts Manager, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their parts enquiries and orders – specifically Motor Vehicle Brake & Clutch components.     The Opportunity

    Key Duties

    • Spare Parts Interpreting specialising in Motor Vehicle Brakes & Clutches
    • Assist customers with parts enquiries both via telephone & face to face
    • Invoicing Customer orders using the company computer operating system
    • Navigate Online Parts Catalogs to locate parts
    • Place parts orders with suppliers
    • Dispatch of parts including liaising with delivery staff
    • Receipt received stock orders and replenish shelves
    • Process credit returns both creditor and debtor
    • Source and order specialty parts from warehouses and external suppliers
    • Pack and dispatch parts from the warehouse
    • General administration and housekeeping
    • Adhoc relevant tasks set by management

    Role Specific Skills

    • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally Brake & Clutch specific
    • Sound mechanical knowledge
    • Good computer and systems working knowledge
    • Possess current full drivers licence with a good driving record
    • Customer service focus
    • Good attention to detail, accuracy and time management
    • Neatly presented with a professional attitude and good communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy and challenging role
    • Prepared to work every second Saturday on a rostered basis
