Storeperson/Workshop Assistant- Repair Tools

Our client located in Wetherill Park specialise in the distribution and servicing of industrial packaging and tools. Due to business growth a rare opportunity has become available for a Storeperson to join their team on a permanent basis. The position would suit an individual who is trade qualified and seeking to step back from the tools or someone who is mechanically minded as your day will be spent working in the warehouse and workshop where you will be extensively trained to become an expert when servicing and repairing hand held tools. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm and a salary of $47k plus superannuation is on offer for the right candidate with an immediate start. Your duties will include:Service and repair hand held battery tools- full training will be providedMaintain a neat, tidy, and orderly warehouseGeneral picking and packing orders from printed picking slipsOperate counterbalance forklift to move stock and load/unload trucksPacking away deliveriesStocktakingLiaise with customers, suppliers, and couriers regarding the receiving and dispatch of toolsLiaise with transport companies to organise deliveries and obtain quotesManual handling up to 20kgsTo be successful you will need:To be enthusiastic, driven, and motivatedExperience working in a warehouse environmentA mechanical understanding and enjoy tinkering with gadgets and toolsA current forklift licence with a minimum of 2 years experienceA NSW drivers licence and own reliable transport2 x contactable referees to verify your experienceBirth Certificate or passport to show your work rights in AustraliaIf you enjoy working in a warehouse, believe you have a good mechanical aptitude  and seeking extra responsibility, this is a great opportunity to join a friendly and professional team.  Australia - NSW Sydney Parramatta & Western Suburbs

To be successful you will need:

  • To be enthusiastic, driven, and motivated
  • Experience working in a warehouse environment
  • A mechanical understanding and enjoy tinkering with gadgets and tools
  • A current forklift licence with a minimum of 2 years experience

  • 2 x contactable referees to verify your experience
