Truck Driver

Our client located in South Windsor are one of Australia's leading manufacturers of equipment used throughout the Waste and Recycling industry. They design and manufacture quality equipment specific to the compaction, transportation and handling of waste and recycling streams. Due to growth within the business they are now seeking an experienced HC/MC Truck Driver with a Dogging Licence and Forklift Licence to transport and install equipment between their branches and to major clients including hospitals and shopping centers.The hours of work are:Monday to Friday 6:30am-3:30pm and Saturday 6:30am-12:30pm with some flexibility.The pay rate is $30 per hour plus superannuationTo be successful in this role you must have a minimum 5 years driving experience with Road Ranger gear boxes.This position requires interstate travel 1-2 times a month- overtime and allowances will be paid. Your duties will include:The safe operation of company trucks and equipmentLoading and transporting heavy equipment for delivery and installationComplete maintenance of the vehicle and trailers- wash, grease and check oil/tyres and report any issuesComplete required administration - recording and quality controls for deliveriesTo be successful you will need:A current HC/MC licence with an acceptable driving record :  checked through Service NSW driving recordDogging licenceForklift licence with a minimum of 3 years experienceExperience transporting heavy, large industrial equipmentDemonstrated experience working in a similar positionExperience with Road Ranger gear boxesTo be willing to wash trucks, trailers and equipmentAbility to provide a high level of customer serviceDemonstrated experience working in a similar positionYour birth certificate or passport to show your work rights in Australia2 x contactable referees to verify your experience and work behaviorIf you are seeking to work for a reputable company that can offer a supportive and friendly team environment then this may be the role for you!
